Gather your family for a getaway in this beautiful bungalow. Situated near the historic town of Pwllheli with easy access to numerous beaches, this is the perfect place for a fun, busy and educational trip with your children – plus, you can bring dogs! You’ll be on the 100-acre Penmaen Estate and have access to a 6-acre shared garden, so there’s plenty of room for exploration and games.

The unenclosed garden stretches out behind the property and can be easily viewed from the outdoor dining area. It’s a great place for a BBQ on a long summer afternoon, or sipping tea in the morning. This space is accessible through a pair of patio doors which flood the open-plan kitchen/diner with natural light. The huge bay window in the lounge functions in a similar way, and when the sun goes in, you can light the wood burner to make things cosier. The living spaces have wooden floors and matching furniture for a cohesive feel. Finally, the bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing placed between a family bathroom, so you will wake ready and refreshed for the holiday activities.

There are lots of things to explore around this bungalow. You’ll be 1 mile from Pwllheli, which is famous for being the birthplace of both Plaid Cymru and Welsh poet Sir Albert Evans-Jones. History enthusiasts should check out some of the area’s castles, and golfers will be 1.5 miles from a course with coastal views. You can do water sports, cycling and walking along the seafront or head 6.5 miles to the Llyn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where there are lots of Sites of Special Scientific Interest for bright young minds.

A fantastic location in a beautiful setting. It's a great place to explore the Llyn peninsular and handy for most of the attractions in the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage has everything you need for a lovely holiday.

We had a week at Bryn Penmaen and it was the perfect base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and further. Close to all the amenities of Pwllheli but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere with great views from the driveway. The cottage had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and extremely peaceful. Would definitely return if we'reRead more ever coming to the area again! Hide

Beautiful cosy cottage in a stunning location, but let down by a few major faults. We stayed for 1 week in November, the cottage was in a stunning location, completely detached and a good distance from the neighbouring property. Lovely grounds and public footpaths to explore. This cottage is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and has everyRead morething you need for a weeks break. HOWEVER-unfortunately a few issues let this property down, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, obviously over-worn and left us feeling achey and exhausted! Rather than relaxed and comfortable. The Hot Water could barely cover 2 inches of the bath before running cold. Luckily there is an electric shower which does stay hot, but lacks pressure. Despite having instructions on how to use the dishwasher in the property manual, the dishwasher cannot actually be opened due to the bottom catching on the baseboard of the kitchen unit at the bottom. This cottage has the potential to be absolutely perfect , however with these current issues , we couldnt recommend to a friend. Hide

A lovely property in a great location. So nice to be able to sit in the garden & enjoy the birdsong! An ideal private retreat, but only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Pwllheli, while access to the nearest beach is even closer. A perfect base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula or just staying put and admiring the local views on a sunny day.
