A beautifully appointed barn conversion peppered with vibrant potted plants and enveloped by 15 acres of lush farmland on the outskirts of Llannor. This romantic bolthole is perfect for couples seeking a secluded getaway on the Llyn Peninsula. Pad along the wooden boardwalk and stroll the golden stretch of sand of Pwllheli Beach (5 miles), then settle in for an intimate supper below the impressive high-vaulted ceiling.

This tastefully renovated property features a luxurious interior with original flagstone flooring, rustic wooden beams, eclectic oil canvases, and earthy neutral tones throughout. Unravel layers at the door before venturing into the magnificent open-plan living space. Prop open the French doors and bask in the gentle summer breeze as you sink onto the lived-in leather sofas and toast with a clinking tipple. Itinerary plan gathered at the wooden dining table while you scoff nibbles and flick through photos from the day. Step down into the traditional cream kitchen with a feature Belfast sink and rustle up an evening meal. Ascend the wooden staircase to the mezzanine landing then step through the double pine doors into the tranquil double room with an iron bed frame. After a leisurely breakfast in bed, throw open the patio doors and soak in the uninterrupted views from the raised terrace. Enjoy sizzling al fresco feasts from the BBQ or amble through the rich farmland beyond.

Sample a selection of local ales at the craft brewery in Nefyn (7 miles) or settle in for a fresh seafood lunch at the easy-going beachfront bar in Mora Nefyn (7.5 miles). An ideal property for 2 people in a quiet rural location. Great hosts who made us feel very welcome and were a good source of local information.

This property is ideal for a couple who like a quiet location but which is within a short car journey from various small towns. The very friendly owners did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one - including providing little extras - home grown tomatoes, plums and apple juice. They live in the adjacent farm house and are always at hanRead mored to provide help or advice. The Barn is comfortable and cosy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hide

The Barn is an ideal holiday accommodation: very clean, very comfortable, and in an ideal location - just a short drive from Pwllheli. The owners, Simon and Suzanne, live next door and are very friendly; however, they do leave you to your own devices to enjoy your holiday in your own way. The Barn is highly recommended.
