Description
The Atrium consists of three beautifully styled holiday apartments, each sleeping two guests and each having their own bedroom, seating, modern shower room and kitchen, but all arranged around a stunning covered central atrium, making one gorgeous holiday property that sleeps six in total. This is a superb location for heading to the mountains and lakes of Snowdonia or to the stunning beaches nearby. Much thought has gone into the styling of these properties which are also packed with traditional charm. They have been sympathetically renovated using reclaimed materials found on site, and retain the original wall and floor tiles and period detailing. The atrium has a large table and benches, perfect for a get together for family or friends. There is shared use of a washing machine and drying area. Private parking.
The Atrium includes:
The Larder - has a light and modern feel, all on one level, with a living dining room which has a sofa bed, flatscreen TV/DVD, WiFi, and a contemporary table and chairs. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, 4 ring induction hob, a fridge with ice compartment and microwave with grill (no oven). The bedroom has a king size bed which can be split into twin beds if preferred. The large shower room with its original glazed bricks and slate floor has a contemporary walk- in shower, WC and basin. There is a small private patio area with a table and chairs.
The Wood Store - is an open- plan studio apartment, all on one level, with a light and modern feel. A bright seating area with two tub chairs and a modern dining table and chairs is created by having a double wall bed which pulls down, complete with bed linen, when required. Flatscreen TV/DVD and WiFi. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, 4 ring induction hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave with grill (no oven). The large, contemporary shower room has a walk- in shower, WC and basin. There is a small private patio area with a table and chairs.
The Brushing Rooms - have a light and contemporary feel, all on one level. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed at one end and a seating area with two comfortable club chairs and a door onto the patio. The wall-mounted flatscreen TV/DVD can be viewed from either end. The kitchen diner includes a dishwasher, 4 ring induction hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave with grill (no oven). The large, contemporary shower room has a walk- in shower, WC and basin. There is a small private patio area with a table and chairs.
These apartments are attached to the historic Wern Manor. Guests are encouraged to explore the 15 acres of grounds which, although only remnants remain of this once formal garden, still provide a fascinating reminder of a bygone era, steeped in history. There is plenty of room to wander, picnic or play games on the lawn (croquet sets provided) or find a quiet corner to sit and relax. Features include yew avenues, sweeping lawns, woodland areas, a summer house and pond. Walks lead to the nearby village of Tremadog and to the beach and town of Porthmadog. Wern Manor is undergoing a process of gentle renovation and the owners' encourage guests to arrange a tour of the mansion to discover not only its fascinating history but also the renovation work and the exciting future that lies ahead for it.
The estate grounds are large and great to explore but please be aware that there is a small stream and a pond so children need to be supervised.
The Atrium can be booked with The Bothy and/or Butlers House to accommodate up to 15 guests.
