Crown Cottage is a charmingly restored 13th century former mill cottage in the pretty village of Llangian, just over a mile away from Abersoch and the fabulous beach at Hells Mouth. The cottage has a large lawn and garden to the rear with shrub borders and wild flower areas. Llangian itself is a peaceful little village with a small shop and beautiful church.

Crown Cottage has a homely feel having been lovingly cared for and upgraded by the current owners of many years. The front door leads to the kitchen dining room, which is furnished with some antique pieces including a large dresser, dining table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped to include an electric oven and hob, compact dishwasher and washing machine. There are views out over the garden with a stable door leading to the patio, ideal for outside entertaining! Entrance to the living room is through a small snug room with sofa. The living room has a large inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove (initial logs supplied), although the ground floor all has underfloor heating as well, and lovely wooden parquet style flooring. This room is comfortably furnished with country style chairs, a sofa and flatscreen TV. Another door leads to the patio from here. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with shower over. Quite steep wooden stairs lead to the attic bedrooms, both full of character; the double bedroom is accessed through the twin room but does have a door for privacy. The twin room has two double beds, pine flooring and simple country furniture. There is no WiFi at this property, the owners preferring to keep it as a peaceful rural retreat. The garden has several seating areas to make the most of the sun, and a patio with table and chairs. There is a small stream running alongside the garden so toddlers should be supervised at all times.

The local shop has basic supplies with further supermarkets and shops in Abersoch and Pwllheli. From this peaceful location you are just a short drive away from the bustle of Abersoch with its cafes (and WiFi), pubs and shops and of course the stunning beaches of the Llyn Peninsula a relaxing or for water sports. Away from the coast things are a bit more peaceful with many places of historic interest and rural walking. The National Trust's Plas Yn Rhiw is close by, also the visitor centre at Porth y Swnt, Aberdaron and the managed area at Porth Dinllaen famous for the beach side pub, Ty Coch. Further afield there are many opportunities for day trips to places such as Porthmadog, with its steam railway, Portmeirion or Caernarfon.

Please note there is a small stream running alongside the garden so toddlers to be supervised

A charming cottage and lovely welcome pack.

Mrs Julie T,

Fab holiday, Crown Cottage is a gem of a property, loathed to say too much in case it becomes too popular. We fully intend to visit again at the earliest opportunity!!!

Mr Neil O,

A wonderful little cottage in an idyllic location. Beautifully decorated and great value for money. Will definitely be returning!

Mr Tom M,

We were impressed with the cottage. It was exactly as described. A lovely peaceful location.
