A charming and contemporary home in a delightful Welsh village, this cottage is ideal for groups of five who want to enjoy some peace and restoration in this quiet spot in the Llyn AONB. Upstairs is a fantastic open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with large windows allowing light to flood in. Cook up a storm, eat together, and then watch movies in front of the warming wood burner. Just home from a lovely week in Wales, Llanbedrog staying in 3 Glyn Y Marian. The accommodation was perfect. Only a short walk to the beach, art gallery or pub. The two bed cottage was modern and I loved the beach vibe decor and colours. Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge situated on the second floor to maximise the sea views. Theres a large balcony tRead moreo enjoy the sun with as glass of something or a morning cuppa. The clean and amply sized bedrooms on the ground floor can sleep five, alongside the bathroom with walk-in shower. I would definitely recommend. JR Hide

Property was very stylish and beautifully furnished, but in need of fresh painting as ceilings and walls were tired, stained, marked and scuffed. Balcony area was very run down with broken decking and flaking plaster and paintwork in comparison to neighbouring lets. Biggest problem was a dreadful fusty, damp and mouldy smell, which resonated thoughRead moreout the downstairs bedrooms. This was coming from the porch area behind the washing machine, where there is obviously an unattended damp problem. A service man turned up on our first day to say the cleaners has reported a smell and he had unblocked a drain, which would solve the smell... but I knew it wasn't a stagnating water smell. it remained, and the smell has embedded in all our clothing, coats and baggage. I can still smell it on our items even after being home for 4 days now. Property needs a freezer or even just an ice box, within a fridge... everyone wants ice cubes in hot weather and to be able to freeze their ice packs for beach picnic bags etc. Hide

Only issue was that the bedding was sandy when we arrived (appreciate this is difficult due to the location!) and it smelled a little bit probably due to the washing machine! Also the double bed in the little room was broken but fortunately the kids slept in this so it wasnt a problem - may be an issue for adults though.
