Property code: OC-LLANWC

With its far-reaching views, clean white exterior and quirky upside-down layout, this holiday home on the Llyn Peninsula offers comfortable and stylish accommodation for up to six guests. It’s in a residential street in Abersoch, a coastal resort with a sandy beach and plenty of shops and restaurants for you to explore. Spend your days exploring the pretty Wales Coast Path (0.5 miles) or relaxing in the local cafes listening to the musical Welsh language, spoken by many the locals.

The outside of the property has a striking appearance, with its A-frame upper layer and wrap-around balcony resembling the top deck of a boat. Downstairs, you’ll find the three bedrooms plus a colourful modern kitchen with French doors leading out to a furnished patio and lawned garden – ideal for enjoying breakfast on mild days. You’ll do much of your socialising in the open-plan living space in the eaves of the building, which has floor-to-ceiling windows at one end for an airy, light-filled feel. Lie back on the sofas or tuck into extended family meals at the large dining table. The large balcony has plenty of furniture for making the most of the coastal vistas and fresh sea air.

Abersoch is with an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so expect wow-factor scenery all around. Golf fans can enjoy a round at the local course (0.5 miles) while those keen to stretch their legs can take the pretty coastal path 3.5 miles to Llanbedrog. As well as the local beach, you’ll find the popular surf spot 2 miles away in Porth Neigwl.

We had a perfect stay in Abersoch. The house was brilliant, and perfect for our family holiday. There was plenty of space for everyone, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Everything was spotless and having parking for two cars was really useful. The walk into town was easy, and the check in and out arrangements worked well for us We canRead more't wait to book again! Really enjoyable week - location good - the house was in a great location and within very easy reach of restaurants and shops. The only down side was the behaviour of guests in other places nearby who believe it is acceptable to share their taste in music with the whole town.

The house was ideally located and very clean and modern. There were a couple if items missing from the inventory such as a mop and scissors. The baby gate was faulty but this was not a problem as we had a travel one with us. The garden and patio area is superb and the furnishings to a high standard, although a bbq would be really great. The upstairRead mores terrace needs a bit of attention as the 2 wooden chairs need painting although the 2 basket chairs are really nice. We could not open the back windows in the living area as a key was required which we didn't have. The kitchen equipment was to a high standard. Would have been nice if bed linen and towels had been provided at the property as packing those for 2 double beds, 2 singles and towels for 6 people takes a lot of luggage space. The 9am check out we thought was very early especially trying to get 2 young children fed and ready for then.10am is far more common. We found the booking process really easy and the information from the office was superb and the live chat on the website was great. None of the above are really major complaints at all, just very small issues that could be improved to make it really 5 star. Hide
