There really is nothing like an open fire or log burner on a miserable rainy day in Wales. We like to think that the sun always shines on the Llŷn but alas, sometimes it does indeed rain - but that's why it's always so green in Wales! 

My grandmother was an avid walker on the Llŷn Peninsula, she loved the contrast of being out on a long walk, returning home, ever so slightly tired and perhaps a bit damp and warming up by the fire, toes and fingers gently warming in front of the flames in the fireplace.
