A charming coastal cottage, all on one level, boasting stunning views across glistening cardigan bay. This tranquil oasis is ideal for family and friends looking to relax in nature on the scenic Lyn Peninsula. Amble down the wooden boardwalk and stroll the soft dune-baked sands of Pwllheli Beach (3 miles), before sliding in for a restorative soak in the hot tub (extra charge).

This characterful property features a quintessential cottage interior with exposed beams, dark wood furniture, and soft neutral tones throughout. Slip off sandy shoes at the door then venture into the spacious lounge with a high-vaulted ceiling. Raid the chocolate tin then sink onto the padded leather sofas and flick through the Smart TV or warm chilly toes by the crackling wood burner. Steal some peace as you sip a brew from the window seat and admire the magnificent views beyond. Rustle up a post-adventure spread in the traditional wooden kitchen or perch at the breakfast table to pour a selection of aperitifs. Mark your special occasion with a hearty feast gathered in the formal dining room with elegant wooden chairs. Retire to the four inviting bedrooms, consisting of an en-suite king, a double, and two airy twins. Outdoors, enjoy a sizzling afternoon feast on the patio, while away balmy days in the summer house, or sip a sundowner from the deck.

Saunter through the streets of Pwllheli (3 miles) to browse the selection of independent shops, coffee nooks, and friendly local pubs. Breathe in the salty ocean air as you pick up a section of the Wales Coastal Path weaving from Llanbedrog (7 miles) or pose for a group photo before gliding along the calm waters of Abersoch (9 miles) on a guided SUP session.

Great location and scenic views. The cottage is a little rustic and bit tired in places. The living spaces are roomy.

A lovely stay in a homely cottage. Gorwel is comfortable and cosy with plenty of room. The hot tub was much enjoyed to ease aching muscles after long coastal walks.

The situation of the property overlooking the sea and town was lovely (On sunny days it felt like somewhere on the Med) There was plenty of room for eight. Lots of equipment {washing machine, tumble dryer etc) Everyone loved the hot tub even in the rain

We had a lovely week here. Very well equipped on the whole (although would have liked a parasol or other shade for garden on a hot week, and we disagreed with some previous reviews about the generosity of the towels- bring your own if you like a big bath sheet). Kids enjoyed having the garden, summer house and the hot tub. Good size lounge, dining Read moreroom and kitchen. More WCs than advertised - 3 in house and 1 outside! Easy parking for multiple cars. Beautiful views and handy location walking distance from a beach (albeit worth driving further for the stunning beaches on the peninsula) and short drive from supermarkets, shops, takeaways etc in Pwllheli. Great base for our extended family holiday. Hide

Really comfortable cottage with plenty of room for all our family. The garden was great, much appreciated by our granddaughter and dog, the views are lovely. We were made to feel very welcome, communication was great. The local area has excellent beaches and place to walk. We would love to come back.

Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Short drive to pwllheli and walking distance to a lovely beach. Cottage had everything you could possibly need and some for a great stay. Gardens also perfect, plenty of room for dogs and small children to run around in, felt very safe. Would highly recommend.
