Oozing with country cottage charm and finished with sophisticated elegance, this holiday home on the Llyn Peninsula offers a superb coastal escape for larger groups of friends or family. Combining three inviting lounge areas, five fabulous bedrooms, and extensive outdoor space, this detached cottage is a wonderful choice for up to nine guests - and it’s dog-friendly too. Admire panoramic sea views from the summer house or upstairs bedrooms before making your way to the pristine sands of Llanbedrog Beach (0.5 miles), where safe swimming and sunbathing await against the majestic backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains.
Blending old and new, the cottage has been sympathetically renovated to incorporate modern comforts while retaining its original stone walls and exposed beams. Two cosy, snug areas and a garden room feature wood burners and Smart TVs, adjoined by luxurious underfloor heating. Also on this floor are a boot room, utility room, farmhouse-style kitchen, and two convenient downstairs shower rooms. Upstairs, all five bedrooms are beautifully presented and enjoy lovely views. Outside, the acre of lawn and patio space provides plenty of room to relax, complete with seating, garden games, a fire pit, and a charming summer house. Private parking is available for up to three cars.
A hidden gem on the peninsula, the village of Llanbedrog is a fantastic coastal destination with a beautiful sandy beach and a relaxed seaside atmosphere. It sits between the sailing hub of Abersoch (2.5 miles) and the larger town of Pwllheli (4 miles), both charming spots along the Cardigan Bay coastline connected by the scenic coastal path. Around 5 miles away lies Porth Neigwl, better known as “Hell’s Mouth” — a renowned surfing beach where dramatic Atlantic swells create the perfect setting for catching waves or simply watching the surfers from the shore with a beach picnic in hand.
