We stayed between Christmas and new year and enjoyed our holiday. The house is on the main road and you do hear traffic noise due to single glazing. The house was always warm which was great. The kitchen and shower are functional but the shower is really dated. The log burner again is functional but pretty smoky. Looking at prices for other timeRead mores of the year it seems cheaper but for over 800 for 5 nights you'd probably expect a higher standard

Holiday Cottages response - Thank you for your valued feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The property is double glazed and we are surprised you experienced traffic noise. Our pricing reflects current market rates for this area, which is a particularly beautiful and popular part of the country. Christmas is peak season, with very high demand, so prices are naturally higher than during quieter, off-season periods. Staying outside of peak times is usually much more affordable, but during Christmas the rates reflect the popularity and limited availability at that time of year.

This is a lovely property that is truly dog friendly. It is exceptionally well appointed, especially in the kitchen department: important to me as a cook. There's a bit of traffic noise but mostly farm-related - not really a problem. We had a great time with the beach nearby and lots of eateries locally and in nearby villages. Nefyn is quite remote, although buses went through quite often with a stop not far from the cottage. We had travelled by car and it was quite handy to get to a number of different places.
