Immerse yourself in the Welsh countryside at this gorgeous village cottage with a pretty stone exterior. It offers a quintessential experience in a stunning part of Wales, and with space for up to four guests, is wonderful for a family trip. As well as a gorgeous sandy beach within 2 miles, you’ll have convenient access to vibrant local towns such as Nefyn, Pwllheli and Caernarfon (all around 10 miles), all offering a selection of shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants for you to explore.

The cottage shares its location with the revered St Beuno’s parish church, a site believed to be the remnants of a Celtic monastery founded in the 7th century. Once you’ve walked up the garden path, step inside to discover a well-equipped galley kitchen where you can cook up holiday feasts. Then take the food into the dining room, a gorgeous space adorned with oak parquet floors and bathed in natural light. Upstairs, you’ll have a cosy lounge area offering stunning garden and coastal views. After busy days spent in the Welsh sea air, you’ll appreciate sinking into the comfortable seating and switching on the Smart TV to watch a film. On sunny days, the country garden comes into its own, with its plants, shrubs, water feature and lawn. A paved patio is on hand for al fresco dining and perhaps a fresh-air dinner cooked on the BBQ.

There’s so much to offer nearby, including water sports, sea swimming, sailing, surfing and canoeing. For golf enthusiasts, you’ll find superb golf courses 10 and 12 miles away. Keen for a historical afternoon? We recommend visiting Caernarfon Castle (10 miles) or drive down to Criccieth Castle (14.5 miles) on the south coast. A little further afield, the charming coastal towns of Porthmadog and Abersoch await (around 17.5 miles) for seaside adventures and more outstanding scenery.

The cottage was beautiful both inside and out. Then there is the added bonus of a wonderful dog friendly garden. The garden itself is magnificent and clearly well designed and maintained.

A wonderful cottage, in a wonderful setting. Lovely and extremely comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of the country. There were 4 of us, we were extremely comfortable so much so that we spent every night eating there instead of going out. The kitchen was especially well equipped and the garden absolutely beautiful. I hope to go there again soon and visit other part of North Wales.

Just love this place. Clean, well equipped. Small kitchen, but who cares? We are on holiday. Majority of cooking is banned. The bed is comfy. The stairs are easy to climb. Plenty of lighting. The best bit is the fully secured garden. Our dog loves it. Very friendly neighbours too. Owners are always contactable if needed.

We felt immediately at home on arrival and the location feels comfortingly isolated. There is noise from the A499, but it's sufficiently distant not to be an irritant. My dog loved the place, especially the garden.
