This delightful coastal retreat is in the vibrant village of Abersoch, on the spectacular Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping eight guests, the property makes a great base for family get-togethers and holidays with friends. The village’s shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants are within 0.5 miles, as is the sandy beach. Nearby attractions include the picturesque village of Portmeirion (23 miles) and Harlech Castle (29 miles).
A private, gated driveway leads to the property, and a step takes you to the back door. Inside, the home-away-from-home feels bright and airy, with neutral decor and large windows letting in plenty of natural light. The hub of the house is a sociable kitchen/diner, providing a contemporary space for preparing meals to share around the oak dining table. The property has two living areas, both with Smart TVs and a selection of comfortable seating, as well as books and games to keep everyone entertained. A handy shower room rounds off the ground floor. The four beautiful bedrooms are upstairs, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A stylish family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, a sunny, south-facing garden awaits, with furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. There’s also a garage with a table tennis table and space for storing outdoor equipment.
Grab your buckets and spades and head to the beach, for a day of sandcastle building and bathing in the sea. The beach is a popular spot for sailing and water sports, and you can also hop on boat trips to explore St Tudwal and Bardsey Island. Six circular walking routes start and end in Abersoch, offering scenic jaunts along the coast and through the countryside. Keen surfers must make the 2-mile journey to Porth Neigwl, where you’ll find a quiet beach that’s exposed to the full force of the Atlantic Ocean.
