Property code: OC-MYNACH

A tastefully restored Welsh farmhouse situated in a blissfully secluded setting with sweeping sea and countryside vistas. This unique retreat is perfect for families or small groups of friends adventuring along the scenic Llyn Peninsula with a couple of furry companions in tow. Embrace a blustery afternoon saunter along the rugged cliff-backed shoreline of Porth Towyn Beach (1 mile), before gathering around the crackling open-air fire pit for a toasted sweet treat.

This property beautifully blends original features with contemporary flair. Picture beamed ceilings, rustic stonework, clean lines, and a sleek neutral colour palette. Slip off sandy shoes in the hallway then be tempted into the spacious kitchen/diner by the warmth of the crackling wood burner. Rustle up a post-adventure spread in the bespoke shaker kitchen or perch at the wooden-topped kitchen island and swirl a glass of wine. Slide out the emerald green chairs positioned around the dining table then settle in for a celebratory feast. After dinner, venture into the elegant lounge styled with a feature log stack and industrial-style exposed brick wall. Sink onto the sofa with a cuppa and plan out the perfect Welsh itinerary or relax with a film. Unwind with a restorative soak in the curved bathtub then choose from three chic bedrooms to rest up in, consisting of two super-kings and an airy twin, each with inviting crisp linens. Sip your morning coffee from the patio and drink in the panoramic views while little ones and pups roam free on the sprawling lawn.

Amble along the Llyn Coastal path to the seaside village of Tudweiliog (1 mile) and refuel with a hearty pub lunch, gear up for a water sports session on the glistening shores of Morfa Nefyn Beach (4 miles) or examine the intriguing ruins of Trwyn Dinllaen Iron Age Hill Fort (5 miles).

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is an ideal location. Easy access to the coastal path , 1 mile walk up the lane to the pub which is dog and child friendly and does great pub grub. Our family have just enjoyed a great week in this warm and comfy holiday house, situated 5 mins walk from the coastal path with scenic walks either way, more headland walks from Aberdaron and Abersoch and lovely beaches all round. Our first time in this area, sure we'll be back, thank you. Wright Family

The location was fantastic and cleanliness and equipment could not be faulted. The demise of the fridge freezer 2 days into our week was dealt with absolutely as well as possible. Full marks to the owner here. See above for improvement suggestions.

A beautiful, spacious cottage in a quiet location, with excellent access to the coast. Our children loved playing in the gardens. There are some beautiful beaches and even a seal colony in short walking distance.

The cottage is great, very well situated for access to the coastal path and nearby beaches. The seal colony to the north is a must! There was lots of useful information and suggestions provided by the owner. The kitchen is well equipped (hand blender and electric whisk useful!) and despite not being huge the cottage makes good use of space and wRead moreas very comfortable for six adults and a dog! The only niggle was the very high temperatures the bedrooms were heated to, which was hard to override for any length of time - seems wrong to complain about being too hot in winter, but it did affect our sleep quality a bit as the duvets were very warm too! We stayed in December - would also be a great summer location to really take advantage of the coast. Hide

A simple, idealistic cottage set on a beautiful coastline. Quick access to the beach and coastal walks were fantastic. Nice local pub and not far from shops. We had a lovely weeks holiday. There were some remedial maintenance works required but hopefully they would have been addressed quickly. We would stay again.
