Book a special stay at this inviting coastal retreat in Pwllheli, North Wales. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom hideaway sits in the town’s outer harbour area, where it enjoys views out over the marina. Perfect for couples who enjoy sailing, surfing and other water sports, it is also just 50 metres from the long beach and well positioned for dining out in pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as reaching shops selling Welsh produce.

Let yourselves into the light-filled holiday home after your trips out and enjoy the space of the open-plan kitchen/diner. Unpack any provisions in the kitchen area and whip up a romantic meal for two. Decide whether to eat inside at the table beside the glass doors or to pull them open and dine out in the fresh sea air. The shower room is also at ground-floor level. Climb the stairs up to the first floor after dinner to cuddle up on the soft seating together in front of your favourite boxset on the Smart TV. On summer evenings carry a chilled glass of wine out on to the balcony here to enjoy the last of the warmth. The king-size bedroom, which looks out towards the dunes, is also here. This adjoins a dressing room/office space. Bask in the sunshine of the courtyard garden as well as the balcony, cooking fresh fish on the BBQ sometimes. The cottage has space for cycles and surf boards, plus private, off-road parking.

Stroll into town to browse in the shops and galleries and shop in the market. Plan walks across the picturesque Llyn Peninsula, including along the Wales Coast Path. Drive 3 miles to the beach at Traeth Crugan or 7.5 miles to Abersoch. The long, sandy beach, 10 miles away at Porth Neigwl, is also a popular destination.

We've just had a magical weekend at this lovely property. When we entered it was toasty warm and smelled gorgeous. As well as being perfectly situated and fully equipped, it has everything you need for a relaxing break, from bracing beach walks, to local eateries, or you can sit in the upstairs lounge, read a book and just gaze at the stunning viewRead mores like I did! There are games and books dotted about, also the artwork was fascinating and a good conversation starter. The rear patio was cozy and had comfy furniture to sit and have a morning cuppa whilst the sun comes up .Location was superb, we dined at 'The View' where the food was top notch, and the staff and clientele were really welcoming and friendly. We also went to Cafe Largo for breakfast, which is only a short walk along the sand dunes. The owners left a comprehensive guide to local activities and restaurants, which we found useful. We would 100% recommend this property, and will definitely be staying again. It's worth noting that we enquired about this booking with only two days notice, and the owners were gracious enough to accept us , even with such short notice. Don't hesitate to book! Hide

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We loved sitting in the lounge and watching the boats coming in and out of the marina. Also sitting in the garden and listening to the waves rolling onto the beach was bliss. The cottage is modern and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the shower as it was powerful and instantly warm, bliss! Having thRead moree bar just across the parking area was great and the staff in there could not have been more friendly. It was an easy 20 minute walk into the town and we found a few fantastic places to eat- including a fabulous breakfast cafe. Everywhere we wanted to go was within a 40 minute drive and we loved exploring this part of North Wales. Hide
