Book a special stay at this inviting coastal retreat in Pwllheli, North Wales. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom hideaway sits in the town’s outer harbour area, where it enjoys views out over the marina. Perfect for couples who enjoy sailing, surfing and other water sports, it is also just 50 metres from the long beach and well positioned for dining out in pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as reaching shops selling Welsh produce.

Let yourselves into the light-filled holiday home after your trips out and enjoy the space of the open-plan kitchen/diner. Unpack any provisions in the kitchen area and whip up a romantic meal for two. Decide whether to eat inside at the table beside the glass doors or to pull them open and dine out in the fresh sea air. The shower room is also at ground-floor level. Climb the stairs up to the first floor after dinner to cuddle up on the soft seating together in front of your favourite boxset on the Smart TV. On summer evenings carry a chilled glass of wine out on to the balcony here to enjoy the last of the warmth. The king-size bedroom, which looks out towards the dunes, is also here. This adjoins a dressing room/office space. Bask in the sunshine of the courtyard garden as well as the balcony, cooking fresh fish on the BBQ sometimes. The cottage has space for cycles and surf boards, plus private, off-road parking.

Stroll into town to browse in the shops and galleries and shop in the market. Plan walks across the picturesque Llyn Peninsula, including along the Wales Coast Path. Drive 3 miles to the beach at Traeth Crugan or 7.5 miles to Abersoch. The long, sandy beach, 10 miles away at Porth Neigwl, is also a popular destination.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. It has been refurbished to a high standard and is in a quiet location overlooking the marina. The Lleyn peninsula is unspoilt and well worth exploring.

Lovely cosy, home from home property and we and our little dog were very comfortable here. The cottage was well placed with the beach just behind the sand dunes, literally a stone's throw away and with the marina to the front. It had a comfy bed and plenty of cosy furniture to relax in. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would Read moreneed to cater for yourselves and we received a lovely indulgent welcome pack. The walled garden was very much enjoyed on sunny days and was very useful when having your dog with you. Hide

The pricing was high for the property which Im sure includes your percentage and seems like you are making money for not doing too much but that is the nature of business. We found the facilities and location were excellent. We felt very comfortable and had an excellent service from the owner, great communication and support throughout - couldnt reRead morecommend enough. Hide

A very clean, comfortable and well-equipped property with a generous welcome pack, and nicely situated between a large marina and the sea in a lovely part of Wales. We would highly recommend this holiday house for two and would like to return one day!

On the whole we had a lovely holiday. However there were a few things we werent happy about. When we arrived the instructions re the key were incorrect. It said the key safe was on the side of the house - it was actually in the garage. The code was also wrong. I had tried to ring the owner but there was no answer. Luckily a neighbour came out to heRead morelp us and knew where the key safe was and what the correct Code was. I received an email at 20.30 on Saturday evening providing the correct information- just 4.5 hours too late. Secondly the oven didnt work and tripped the electrics when we tried to use it. I tried to call the owner several times about this but there was never a response. There were no cleaning cloths in the kitchen and no bread knife or sharp knife (minor inconveniences). On our departure date the owner rang me to ask what time we were leaving. I confirmed 11 a m. She then told me she was just two doors away. Clearly she had my number and must have seen my missed calls but left it until our departure time to get in touch. Hide
