Enjoy privacy and tranquillity, the homely warmth of two wood burners, two saunas, a play area, a football field and magical views towards Rhiw mountain from this combination of two lovingly furnished cottages nestled in an idyllic countryside spot along the Llyn Peninsula.
Set over two levels, this L-shaped cottage comprises two separate wings linked by a beautiful conservatory, which can be booked separately or together. There’s plenty of space to get creative with your local produce with a contemporary kitchen/diner in each wing, making feeding the crowd as easy as admiring the unspoilt countryside views from the conservatory. From both wings, enjoy the homely warmth of a wood burner in the lounge areas to soothe tired walking muscles and keep toes and paws toasty, or enjoy a moment’s peace by slipping into the sauna in each wing. Across both wings, you have a spectacular selection of nine bedrooms, each boasting characterful, quirky features, to retire to and dream of tomorrow’s adventure. Outside, there’s an expansive lawn to explore, home to a play area and football pitch, and a raised patio area perfect for al fresco dining.
Whilst staying between the picturesque villages of Bryncroes and Sarn Mellteyrn, you’ll get to know the scenic centre of the Llyn Peninsula very well. Surfers can head 4 miles away to reach the mile-long sandy stretch of Traeth Penllech and admire the breathtaking waterfall of Afon Fawr tumbling from the gorge into the cliffs behind. Join the Llyn Coastal Path, an 84-mile trail around the Llyn Peninsula linking Caernarfon and Porthmadog, just 3 miles from the cottage. For a spot of retail therapy, head to the seaside town of Abersoch (7.5 miles), home to an array of independent shops showcasing the best local produce this area has to offer.
