A charming country property enveloped by mature shrubbery and featuring far-reaching countryside and coastal vistas. This luxurious hideaway is perfect for families or small groups of friends seeking a peaceful retreat on the Llyn Peninsula. Pack a picnic, grab the body boards, and settle in for a day of sun-soaked fun on the shores of Porth Neigwl (1.5 miles), before stretching out sandy toes for an al fresco supper on the raised wooden deck.

This well-appointed home features a stylish interior with dark leather accents, oak floorboards, and open-plan social areas. Shake off outdoor layers in the spacious entrance hall before stepping into the inviting lounge/diner. Snuggle up on the swivel loveseat and bask in the glow of the crackling wood burner set in the slate tile hearth. In warmer months, throw open the patio doors and dine around the extending oak table with a balmy breeze drifting inside. Pad along the striking stone flooring to the kitchen and perch at the breakfast bar with a tipple while the resident chef rustles up a feast in the wooden farmhouse kitchen with glossy stone worktops. Unwind with a relaxing shower in the contemporary slate-tiled bathroom before resting up in the three elegant bedrooms. Choose from a large master double with private access to a glass-fronted balcony, a second double, and an inviting twin. While away summer days lounging on the terrace with a book or gearing up for lawn games in the groomed garden.

Scope out the local watering holes in Llanengan (500 metres) offering up hearty pub grub and local ales. Saunter alongside the heather-topped heathland as you pick up a section of the Wales Coast Path from Abersoch (2.5 miles) before refuelling with an aperitif on the waterfront beach bar terrace (2.5 miles).

So close to being a perfect holiday home. Spacious, comfy, well equipped, helpful owners, delicious welcome goodies in the fridge. Close to lovely scenery and beaches and far enough away from Abersoch to feel peaceful and secluded. Great walk-in power shower. The check in time of 5pm and check out at 9am were a surprise. Beautiful cottage in beautiful location. Walkable to the beach, and - if you don't mind walking country roads without pavements - walkable to Abersoch too. The cottage was brilliant and well furnished. Very clean and tidy, and we had an extremely enjoyable week there. The welcome pack of bread, eggs, butter cheese, milk and Welsh cakes was very 'weRead morelcome' and the whole stay was excellent. Hide

What a fantastic stay and as a family of 5, from 6yr to 56 years old not one of us was ready to come home. The house is stunning with every amenity you could wish for. The kitchen is fabulous with plenty of storage, equipment, a fabulous American fridge freezer and extras built into the breakfast bar. The cooker was perfect for cooking for a familyRead more of five every night. The beds were comfy, my daughter has asked me to find out what they were as she has a bad back but didn't have any pain during our stay. The upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet were lovely and had the added bonus of a huge bath which we hadn't realised when booking. We hit lucky with the weather so we were able to take advantage of the outdoor space and furniture. Everything seemed to be built for a purpose with fantastic quality and standard all round. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and even though the listing and photos are what made us book I don't feel they come close to doing the property justice as everything was just wow. The location of the property is also perfect, peaceful and quiet but also within walking distance of Abersoch and fantastic beaches. Hide

Cottage is in a lovely location. We were very grateful to be able to book mid week to mid week and also to vacate the property at our leisure on the final day.

This was our 4th time at Drws y Llan & our grandson calls.it "the holiday house". It's in a great location, has wonderful views & is so spacious. Clean & comfortable & with easy access to Abersoch & many other places & good walks. Also The Sun Inn is less than 10 minutes walk away for a drink & really good food.

Beautiful location. We walked to Porth Neigwl for bodyboarding, to avoid taking the car (about a mile and a half). The house is very comfortable and spacious. Owner Karen was very quick to sort out a couple of minor problems. A lovely holiday!
