With its far-reaching views, clean white exterior and quirky upside-down layout, this holiday home on the Llyn Peninsula offers comfortable and stylish accommodation for up to six guests. It’s in a residential street in Abersoch, a coastal resort with a sandy beach and plenty of shops and restaurants for you to explore. Spend your days exploring the pretty Wales Coast Path (0.5 miles) or relaxing in the local cafes listening to the musical Welsh language, spoken by many the locals.
The outside of the property has a striking appearance, with its A-frame upper layer and wrap-around balcony resembling the top deck of a boat. Downstairs, you’ll find the three bedrooms plus a colourful modern kitchen with French doors leading out to a furnished patio and lawned garden – ideal for enjoying breakfast on mild days. You’ll do much of your socialising in the open-plan living space in the eaves of the building, which has floor-to-ceiling windows at one end for an airy, light-filled feel. Lie back on the sofas or tuck into extended family meals at the large dining table. The large balcony has plenty of furniture for making the most of the coastal vistas and fresh sea air.
Abersoch is with an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so expect wow-factor scenery all around. Golf fans can enjoy a round at the local course (0.5 miles) while those keen to stretch their legs can take the pretty coastal path 3.5 miles to Llanbedrog. As well as the local beach, you’ll find the popular surf spot 2 miles away in Porth Neigwl.
