Our Nominated Charity
Since Abersoch Holiday Homes began we have always been an active supporter of local charities including the Abersoch RNLI.
The RNLI is dedicated to saving lives at sea and prevention of loss of life and the work of the Abersoch RNLI is vital around our coastline. Whether local or on holiday your safety in the water and at sea is supported and safeguarded through preventative education, as well as, traditional lifeboat cover.
The crew of the Abersoch lifeboat are volunteers who live and work within Abersoch village who can respond in the shortest possible time in an emergency. The local lifeboat is a matter of great pride amongst all involved in providing this fundamental service.
Whilst the crew are all volunteers, it is essential they have all the very best equipment and training enabling them to help us and this is why we would ask you to support us in raising funds for this great cause. It costs £90,000 annually to run Abersoch RNLI so every pound really does help.
The crew at Abersoch RNLI would love to show you what they do and are pleased to welcome all visitors young and old. Lifeboat practice takes place every Thursday evening at 6:30pm onwards at the Lifeboat Station at the Harbour Beach, Abersoch and you are invited to chat with the crew and to have a closer look at the boat and tractor. During the summer months the Abersoch RNLI shop is open on a Thursday evening at the Lifeboat Station.
On behalf of Abersoch RNLI, thank you for your continued support.
