Llanengan holiday cottages

Halfway between the bustling seaside village of Abersoch and the surfer's paradise of Hells Mouth (Porth Neigwl) lies the pretty hamlet of Llanengan.

Llanengan is a small cluster of traditional properties, huddled around the two hubs of the village; the beautifully restored 16th-century St Engans Church and the family-friendly Sun Inn. The church is steeped in history dating from as far back as the 5th century. At the Sun Inn, families can enjoy good food and a locally brewed beverage. It is a gathering place for walkers who have enjoyed a stoll on the coastal path, surfers heading from the waves, cyclists on the Llŷn Cycle Route and those just seeking a taste of traditional pub life. The beach at Hell's Mouth (Porth Neigwl) is well-loved in the surfing community. The wide bay, gentle shelving, and southwest-facing position create the Llŷns' best waves. Hire a board in Abersoch, join surf school, and catch a wave or for those who feel like relaxing, grab a towel, lie out on the sand and catch some summer sun!

Llanengan is a pretty rural retreat, untouched by time and a great base to explore the spectacular Llŷn Peninsula, yet at just a short drive from Abersoch with its bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, and beaches, it really does give guests the best of the area. Why not choose from our delightful selection of Llanengan holiday cottages above?
