Near the centre of popular Abersoch village and only half a mile from the beach, this detached holiday cottage enjoys wonderful views of Cardigan Bay from its sun terrace and an open-plan kitchen/diner for sociable mealtimes. It’s perfect for large or multi-generational families looking for a seaside escape.
Spacious and modern, this welcoming bungalow features a bright living space with a thoughtfully designed kitchen area and a dining table for eight - a lovely place for sociable gatherings at mealtimes before relaxing in the adjacent lounge area. Here there are leather sofas around a Smart TV, an iPod-compatible stereo and double doors that lead to the garden. At bedtime, there are three charming bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes: a double with an en-suite shower room, another double which has a TV/DVD, and a bunk bed room with two sets of bunk beds sleeping four, also with a TV/DVD. The latter two rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath. To the rear of the house, you’ll find an enclosed garden and patio, a delightful area in which children can play and everyone can dine al fresco. From here, wooden steps take you up to a decked terrace where you can enjoy gorgeous coastal views from the comfortable outdoor furniture.
The property stands in an elevated position near the centre of Abersoch, half a mile from the local shops, restaurants and beaches. Sunbathe and build sandcastles all day, try a variety of water sports, or take a boat trip to the St Tudwal’s Islands, looking out for dolphins along the way. Serious surfers will want to head to Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth), 2.5 miles, to try its renowned waves, or, for a change of pace, you can ride horses and play golf within 1.5 miles of the village.
