A beautiful, big property with period features, this gorgeous retreat can welcome the whole family…you can even bring the dogs. This Victorian villa is located along the Llyn Peninsula, just 350 metres from the coast, in the popular resort town of Abersoch. Explore the Wales Coast Path for scenic circular walks or head to the beach for thrilling water-based activities to suit all ages.
Ideally suited to a large family or families, there are two dual-aspect lounges located on the ground floor, both boasting ornamental Welsh fireplaces and TVs, so there is plenty of space for the whole party to relax. The modern kitchen houses a large, oak dining table for everyone to gather around, and there is also a handy utility room on this level. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size master suite with an en-suite shower room, two twin rooms, a cosy single bedroom and the family bathroom. Up again and on the second floor, there are two attractive bedrooms - a double and a twin - both with en-suite shower rooms and delightful estuary views. There is also a snug/games room on this floor, great for children. Outside, the enclosed garden features a courtyard, a partially covered space ideal for children, and a beautiful, raised terrace with a glass balustrade; it is the perfect place to get together for al fresco mealtimes on balmy evenings.
Abersoch is an ancient port, now a fashionable seaside resort, boasting all you need for a lively family break. The village offers plenty of eateries and traditional seaside entertainment and the local beach is lauded for being a centre for water sports. Another nearby haunt, Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth Beach, 2 miles) is famed for its excellent surfing conditions, whilst Porth Ceiriad (2.5 miles) is a lesser-known, sheltered, scenic bay. For a family-friendly beach to build sandcastles on, head to Llanbedrog (4 miles) where you can also enjoy a relaxing swim.
