Have a sumptuous stay at this gorgeous cottage in Llanbedrog on the Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping three guests, the two-bedroom retreat was once home to a blacksmith and dates back to the 1700s. Less than 1 mile from the beach, it makes a great base for anyone seeking a traditional bucket and spade break or chance to enjoy coastal walks. With a garden with a hot tub too, there is plenty of opportunity for a romantic break and relaxation at home as well.
Open the front door to the cottage and step inside to find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can whip up tasty meals, dine together and relax after your busy days out. Light the wood burner in the stone inglenook fireplace in the lounge area on chilly days and relax together in front of the Smart TV or a DVD. As day turns to night, climb the stairs up to the first floor, where the double and single bedrooms are located. Each of these also has a TV. The family bathroom is up here too. Luxuriate in the outdoor living afforded by this cottage. Unwind in the hot tub, have a chilled glass of wine in the summer house and cook supper on the BBQ. There is an external laundry room where you can keep cycles and parking for two cars. Owner willing to offer a 'taxi service' to and from a local pub/restaurant once during a guest stay if they wish. Please contact owner for more info and 24 hours notice would be required.
Visit Plas Glyn y Weddw, 1 mile from the cottage, with its galleries, gardens and woodland. Pick up the Llyn Coastal Path about 0.5 miles away and take in the beauty of this corner of North Wales. Spend time in Abersoch, 3 miles away, with its sandy beaches and opportunities for a variety of water sports. Pwllheli, 4 miles away, is a great place to browse in the shops and dine out on dishes made with local produce.
