With magnificent sea views, a private pebbled beach, a cafe and a Welsh heritage centre onsite, leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life and lose yourself at this unique hideaway nestled in a Victorian village on the peaceful Llyn Peninsula.

Your magical rugged surroundings won’t feel too far away in the cosy lounge of this quint stone-built cottage, wrapped in hues of green that reflect the wild scenery around you. With no TV, disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with loved ones by hunkering down together on the leather sofas. The earthy colour palette is carried through to the well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen/diner where you can get creative with the delightful local produce you’ve collected and dine with the whole gang long into the evening. When bedtime beckons, head upstairs to choose between three beautifully presented bedrooms to slip into bed admiring superb views of the surrounding coastline. Soak up more spectacular sea views by retiring to the shared lawn and catching the most breathtaking sunsets. Before bed, follow the winding pathway down to an idyllic private pebbled beach and wonderful café.

Nant Gwrtheyrn is a unique Victorian former quarrying village nestled in a peaceful spot on the Llyn Peninsula Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfectly placed to explore the enchanting coastline, water sports opportunities and walking trails North Wales and Snowdonia have to offer. Venture to the onsite heritage centre, which houses displays about the Welsh language, culture and wildlife, to soak up the rich unspoilt history of the area. From your doorstep, join the trail on the grounds to arrive at a private hidden cove to indulge in true peace and tranquillity. For an actioned pack family day out, try wakeboarding, kayaking and paddleboarding at Glasfryn Parc just under 6 miles away.

A beautiful, if remote, location. The property is not roomy, though the bedrooms are ok. Good for fit people - not really suitable for those of us with, even slight, mobility issues. Coffee, tea and milk provided. Clean

Well presented, high quality furnishings. Quite a small cottage for 4, especially downstairs, but the bedrooms were fabulous with amazing comfy beds!
