This inviting hideaway is perfect for multigenerational families holidaying by the sea. Big kids and little adventurers alike can feel the salt spray during a guided sailing session on the waters of Abersoch bay (500 metres), before winding down with a sizzling BBQ feast on the lawn.

This detached property offers a modern interior styled in warm neutral tones with traditional tiled fireplaces and playful nautical design touches. After a day by the sea, flop down on the large leather sofas with a brew or curl up on the armchair and read bathed in the light of the bay window. Whip up a hearty feast in the sleek wooden kitchen and enjoy some nibbles and pre-dinner drinks gathered around the breakfast table. For a more formal affair, congregate around the solid oak table in the dining room and toast with a glass of bubbly. Great location and house has a very homely feel. Furniture dated but usable. Good showers. BBQ has been well used probably requires replacing. Love the garden room.

Dolwar is really well located and close to the main beach and shops and other amenities. Property is a little dated and would benefit from a larger freezer, we came as a family with young grandchildren and like to cook most days but there was limited freezer capacity. An additional w.c. would be a welcome addition as would Wi Fi. We really enjoyedRead more our stay and would book again. The garden to the rear is great for kids and well maintained. Hide

Fabulous location, spacious house and gardens. A little dated and missing a few modern services but been a great base for a week mainly spent on the beach! Would definately rebook.

Fabulous location. We really liked the house overall and the summer house / garden room was a bonus not mentioned in the description. Comfy beds and decent showers. Lack of any real freezer space is a negative easily sorted. No dishwasher a small niggle when on holiday. A bunk in the single room would have helped our particular group and seems an Read moreeasy way of making the house perfect for four adults and four kids. The final thing we found quite amusing was the mass of notes stuck to the walls everywhere, the A4 cafetire safety instructions were the highlight (appreciate some may be necessary but gives the house a slight student digs feel). Wed definitely consider Dolwar for another year but felt will a small investment the house could be fantastic! Hide

Location superb.Some of the old fashioned furniture detracted a little. Could have done with a larger fridge freezer possibly in the utility room. Little niggles I know but still a great place
