The luxurious property enjoys a peaceful location in the grounds of the magnificent Plas Gelliwig on the Llyn Peninsula. The spacious abode sleeps six guests and suits both families and groups of friends. After a day of adventure, settle down in front of the wood burner, or share stories and toast marshmallows around the fire pit. The property is ideally placed for many of the peninsula’s highlights, including Abersoch, Pwllheli, and Porth Neigwl (all within 10 miles).
The Grade II-listed property oozes elegance, cleverly combining period features with contemporary design. A large archway welcomes you into the lounge/diner, with floor-to-ceiling windows and cosy underfloor heating. Curl up next to the roaring wood burner or, in summer, open the patio doors to extend the living space outdoors. The gorgeous kitchen is full of personality, making it a joy to cook in, and has a breakfast bar for informal dining. A utility room completes the ground floor. Three inviting bedrooms are upstairs, one of which has an en-suite shower room. You’ll also find a stylish family shower room. Outside, a tranquil haven awaits in the enclosed garden. You’ll have a choice of areas for al fresco entertaining, including around the fire pit and on the terrace, and there’s also a large lawn (please note there is an unfenced pond, and children must be supervised at all times).
The stylish village of Abersoch is 6 miles away. With a lively food scene, you’ll have plenty of independent eateries to choose from, as well as boutiques and galleries to explore. Just along the coast is the surfing hotspot of Porth Neigwl (5.5 miles), where you can try a whole host of water sports. The bustling coastal town of Pwllheli (10 miles) is also a must, with a popular open-air market and two south-facing beaches.
